More Than Just Resin
To the untrained eye, a Crafted Cores kyber crystal might look like just another piece of resin. But in reality, each one is hand-poured, cured, polished, and tested to deliver a truly immersive Star Wars experience.
Our goal? To create a kyber crystal worthy of any Jedi, Sith, or Smuggler who dares to wield the Force.
The Creation Process (No Sith Alchemy Involved… Mostly)
Here’s what goes into making each crystal:
1. Resin Casting & Pouring
We start by mixing high-quality resin with custom pigments and additives. Whether it’s glowing elements, metallic flecks, or stone textures, each pour is crafted to match the lore of the crystal it’s representing.
Example: The Elemental Nature Crystal includes powdered stone for a weathered, earthbound feel.
2. Embedded Chips for Activation
Our crystals include internal Chips for compatibility with Savi’s Workshop lightsabers and Galaxy’s Edge Holocrons, ensuring the same recognition as the original crystals.
3. Sanding, Polishing, and Testing
After curing, every crystal is hand-finished and inspected. We test each one to make sure the color and voice functions activate as expected.
4. Lore Integration
Every crystal includes a custom lore card, written in-universe. Think of it as a Jedi Archive entry, explaining your crystal’s backstory, origin, and significance.
Example: The Hologhost Crystal contains the wisdom of both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon—and yes, it glows in the dark.
