The kit includes a small speaker (not great at loud sounds), but can be attached to a external speaker via 3.5 mm audio cable. It requires 3 AA batters has a volume cycle button. You can add files to the onboard memory or via a micro USB slot. The audio triggers when motion is detected and cycles through the added audio files. Audio files need to be MP3.
